Do you ever feel like you overcommit to others in your life? How about saying yes to circumstances and events that are toxic for your health and make you feel drained at the end of the interaction? Sometimes it feels hard to say "no" because people have expectations of you and you don't want to disappointment them. Learning how to say no, truly means you need to learn how to say "yes". Saying "yes" to yourself. "Yes" I will not allow myself to engage in a toxic situation and stay home and nurture myself. "Yes" I will honor your feelings and not expose myself to certain people in my life. "Yes" I am in control of my time and can accept or deny time that people would like to take from me. "Yes" it is ok to politely accept invitations without any reasons or excuses. When you start to say "yes" to yourself you take back control of your life. You start to notice that people respect your time together or appreciate
